Discovery of the day: Persian food in the Old Market.  Why did no one tell me this existed!?  Also had a chat with what appeared to be the owner and found out that fesinjoon is, in fact, an option even though it's not on the menu.  So, that's going to happen soon.

Finally got pictures all prepped and ready to hang, only to realize my neighbors probably would not appreciate my 10 pm hammering.  Sigh.  Tomorrow - assuming I can still understand all the pencil marks on the wall.

Back to the daily grind after a lovely day off due to record-breaking cold temps in the US.  I'm staying warm inside by cooking all the foods.  I determined that it was time to stop when I started running out of tupperware.

A Picture a Day: Day 1, January the First

I've decided to set myself a challenge for the new year.  In an effort to be more intentional with my time and to create a very visible record for myself of all the things I'm doing with it, I'm going to take one picture to mark each day.  I'm committing to a month for certain, after which I'll reassess, but I'd like to keep it going all year.  I'll post them here as I go (though I don't promise a post every day).
